Bayern Munich are reportedly keen to sign Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez, as they seek to rival Barcelona and Real Madrid at the pinnacle of the European game.
According to Sport (h/t Rhys Turrell of the Daily Star), the German giants are hoping to land a world-class attacker to help preserve their stranglehold in the Bundesliga and remain a force in the UEFA Champions League.
The Chilean’s future at the Emirates Stadium is far from certain, too. Sanchez’s contract is set to expire at the end of the 2017-18 season and manager Arsene Wenger recently revealed talks over a new deal have been shelved for the time being.
