Men's Hoops Can't Overcome Hot Loyola Second Half Shooting, Falls 71-65

WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Army West Point men's basketball team (5-11, 1-2 PL) picked up it's first Patriot League loss on Wednesday night in a 71-68 score against Loyola (3-13, 1-2 PL).

The Black Knights came out with a strong start, shooting 62 percent from the field. Loyola shot 46 percent from the field, and 55 percent from the three.

Abe Johnson had a career high with 16 at the first half. He shot a perfect 7-7 and 2-2 from the free throw line in the opening half as Army took a 39-31 lead into the locker room.
