WEST POINT, NY - Army West Point hockey claimed three of the four weekly awards this from Atlantic Hockey, announced today by the league.
Joey Baez earned AHA Player of the Week for the second time this season, while Evan Szary was named Goaltender of the Week and Brent Keefer tabbed Rookie of the Week honors. This marks the first time this season that Army collected multiple weekly honors.
Baez registered five points in two games this past week before missing Army's final game due to injury. Against Sacred Heart on Tuesday, Baez provided the primary assist on Keefer's goal, before scoring his tenth of the season in the third period to help Army come-from-behind.
