WEST POINT, N.Y. - In celebration of 125 years of Army football, the Army Athletic Association counted down the top 10 moments in program history each Wednesday throughout the 2015 football season. A fan vote and a panel of athletic department officials combined to determine the list of top moments.
Number 1: Army's Three Straight National Championships (1944, 1945, 1946)
From 1944 to 1946, the Army football team was undefeated with a record of 27-0-1 and won three consecutive National Championships under legendary head coach Earl 'Red' Blaik.
In 1944, the Black Knights were a dominating force.
