JONESBORO, Ark. (9/25/16) – The Arkansas State women’s soccer team surrendered a goal to Louisiana-Monroe’s Mia Walters in the 68th minute that proved to the be the only score of the game as the Red Wolves fell to the Warhawks Sunday afternoon at the A-State Soccer Park.
The teams were evenly matched throughout the afternoon, but ULM scored when Cke’Lana Caesar crossed a ball in front of the net to the far post that allowed Walters to redirect it off the post and into the net.
“We just couldn’t get out of our backline fast enough today,” A-State head coach Brian Dooley said.
