A-State Women's Golf Claims Sixth Place at the Little Rock/A-State Invitational

MAUMELLE, Ark. (03/27/18) – The Arkansas State women’s golf team carded a three-round 915 Tuesday at the Little Rock/A-State Invitational to finish in sixth place at the Maumelle Country Club.

A-State recorded a third-round 315 to end the tournament ahead of UT-Arlington, Stephen F. Austin, Evansville, and Alcorn State among the ten team field, while finishing nine strokes behind fifth-place Little Rock.

The Red Wolves finished with a season-high seven players within the top-25 individual players among a field of 56 participants. Junior Beth Ann Compton, competing as part of the Red Wolves’ five-player lineup, and senior Emma Miller, who participated as an individual, led the team.
