JONESBORO, Ark. (4/13/16) – Arkansas State University Director of Athletics Terry Mohajir has issued the following statement regarding an NCAA infraction that occurred within the men’s basketball program last season while John Brady was the head coach.
“Once we learned and confirmed in December that there had been a rule infraction, we immediately self-reported this isolated violation to the NCAA. As a result, our staff fully cooperated with NCAA officials in order to help resolve any outstanding matters. I’m very proud of the way (Associate Athletics Director for Compliance) Joel Weems and our staff collaborated with the NCAA in order to resolve this case with the least amount of penalties.
