FAYETTEVILLE -- Arkansas fans get a chance tonight to celebrate the man who revitalized the basketball program with his hiring as the Razorbacks' coach more than 40 years ago.
Eddie Sutton will be recognized at halftime of the Arkansas-Missouri game in Walton Arena with a banner raised in his honor.
"I'm really excited and pleased about it," Sutton said. "Having an opportunity to see a lot of my former players and old friends and be with the Arkansas fans will be great."
Sutton, who will turn 80 March 12, said tonight's ceremony is a nice early birthday gift.
