The Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award watch list was released today and there was a certain Razorback quarterback included. Florida transfer, Feliepe Franks made the list after missing the final nine games of what was his junior season as a Gator. He was trending upwards in all passing categories and was looked upon as a leader in the locker room at Florida.
The Golden Arm Award is awarded annually to the top quarterback in college football for their work on and off of the field. Before being sidelined with a broken ankle during the Kentucky game, Franks compiled nearly 700 yards passing and five touchdown while rushing for an additional 254 yards and two more touchdowns.
