FAYETTEVILLE - Expectations for the 2016-17 Arkansas basketball season are as high as they have been in coach Mike Anderson’s six seasons.
Part of that has to do with the position in which the Razorbacks find themselves - one NCAA Tournament appearance in Anderson’s tenure and coming off a .500 record both overall and in the Southeastern Conference. Some of it has to do with the amount and depth of talent on the roster. Anything short of an NCAA Tournament appearance would be a disappointment. Fair or not, it’s the truth at this point.
But what exactly suggests that’s a realistic expectation?
