Sophomore Greenwood quarterback Connor Noland, who received an offer from Arkansas on Thursday, attended the Hogs’ April 16 scrimmage.
He split time with starter Luke Hales this past season and completed 72 of 106 passes for 844 yards and 8 touchdowns while operating out of the Spread offense.
Noland was able to sit in a meeting with the quarterbacks and offensive coordinator Dan Enos before practice.
“I think the pro-style offense they run is something that definitely helps guys get to the NFL,” Noland said. “It’s SEC power football. You’re going to run the ball a lot, but the play action I definitely like it.
