Arkansas spring preview: Switch in defensive schemes means Hogs have extra work to do

Related Topics: Arkansas, Quarterback

Arkansas begins spring practice Tuesday, and the Razorbacks have lots of room for improvement after an abysmal ending to last season.

Lots of new faces will be out and about, especially on the defensive side of the football. Luckily for the Razorbacks, 10 players from the 2017 recruiting class enrolled early. This extra time should help in their development.

The offense looks solid for 2017. A proven quarterback should pair well with a couple of talented running backs, and Jared Cornelius shifts into the go-to receiver role after a couple of key departures.

The offensive line should be better under year two of position coach Kurt Anderson.
