FAYETTEVILLE - Nostradamus could not say what Tuesday night’s Missouri State-Arkansas baseball game means outside of an individual win or loss for the participants. In the grand scheme of things the game holds some measure of weight on each team’s resume. How much is up for debate.
Arkansas needs every victory it can muster. Its NCAA Tournament hopes flickering, the demands of qualification require more than simple triumph over the Bears at Baum Stadium. The flip side would be damaging, although, again, the significance of a loss is not measurable.
“They’re kind of like us,” Razorbacks coach Dave Van Horn said.
