Watching Nick Johnson play basketball is a lovely thing. On Thursday night Johnson was not playing in red, white and blue, but rather in a black and white No. 31 Spurs Jersey. It brought me back to Johnson’s days at Arizona. He still has that swagger, that confident stride. His defensive skills still intact, he put on a performance.
Covering the D-Fenders I had mixed emotions, the other media at the press table kept pointing out what my “boy” had accomplished on the court. Well, in a way, I felt like I was filling in for Wildcats fans everywhere, so I shared on our ZZ social media account, and it was appreciated.
