Brooks Reed and Earl Mitchell added to Arizona football’s Ring of Honor

Arizona head coach Jedd Fisch announced after Friday’s practice that former UA defensive linemen Brooks Reed and Earl Mitchell have been added to the program’s Ring of Honor.

Both were standouts for the Wildcats in the late 2000s and qualify for the Ring of Honor because they spent 10 seasons in the NFL.

Reed, a Tucson native and former Sabino High star, tallied 114 tackles and 17 sacks in four seasons at Arizona (2007-10). He made the All-Pac-10 First Team in in 2010 when he had 6.5 sacks and a career-high 47 tackles.
