Already having a standout season, Arizona Women’s Golf Senior, Wanasa Zhou can add to that list the title of Pac-12 Scholar-Athlete of the Year. The conference announced Zhou as the winner on Wednesday.
Zhou, originally a native of China, she would move to Australia where she spent some years before coming to Arizona. Since joining the Wildcats in 2013, she has since slowly been making a name for herself as a standout golfer.
Last season as a junior, Zhou competed in eight events for the Wildcats throughout the year and was ultimately named to the First Team Pac-12 All-Academic Team.
