It's been over 15 years since the City of Tucson and Arizona Stadium have hosted a college football bowl game, but that's all about to change in 2015.
It was announced that Tucson was approved to host what is tentatively called the "Arizona Bowl" on December 29th, 2015. The game will pit teams from the Mountain West and Conference USA against each other.
The Daily Star reports that the bowl committee, led by Sabino grad Ali Farhang, is looking to strike a deal with a TV network and a title sponsor on a five-year deal.
