Arizona goalkeeper Hope Hisey named Pac-12 Scholar-Athlete of the Year

On the eve of her final game in an Arizona uniform, Arizona goalkeeper Hope Hisey has been named the 2023 Women’s Soccer Pac-12 Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

The fifth-year senior graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Political Science with a 4.0 GPA and currently holds a 4.0 GPA in her Legal Studies master’s program.

Hisey was a 2022 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honoree and is a six-time Dean’s List member.

In order to be eligible for the Pac-12 Scholar-Athlete of the Year award, student-athletes must be a senior (in athletics eligibility), on track to receive a degree, have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.
