Arizona Football: Rich Rodriguez feels there should be not be a specific Signing Day

The landscape of NCAA football recruiting changes from year to year and the coaches have to constantly adjust. Signing Day will come along twice this upcoming season. Once in December and once in the following February. Arizona Football Head Coach Rich Rodriguez has said before, he doesn’t feel there should be one day set aside for verbal commits to sign a letter of intent with a college.

The reason for the added day is to minimize the number of recruits who verbally commit but aren’t necessarily serious. Or while verbally commit early and have a ton of time to change their minds, especially with Oregon’s Willy Taggert comes calling, even up to the morning a recruit is about to sign a Letter of Intent.
