Just days ago, the former Wildcat and Phoenix native received news he will be getting another chance to play in the NBA. This time with former teammate and Wildcat, Aaron Gordon.
As you may recall, Johnson was initially drafted by the Houston Rockets with the 12th pick in the 2nd round. So far he’s had a slow start to his career, plagued by injuries and of course playing for some teams both in the NBA, as well as the NBA Developmental League.
Looking to have a stable role in the NBA, Johnson is going to have to make the most of his opportunities.
