Forward Zylan Cheatham is returning home to Phoenix to play basketball for Arizona State, which also is adding a transfer guard from Cleveland State.
The 6-9 Cheatham announced Monday that he is transferring from San Diego State to ASU as reported by the San Diego Union-Tribune and others.
Also joining the Sun Devils is Rob Edwards, a 6-4 guard. Both are sophomores who will sit out in 2017-18 as transfers. Edwards will have two years of eligibility remaining and Cheatham one for sure and a second contingent on NCAA appeal.
