The Sun Devil men's golf program has it all to compete for a NCAA title this year.
It took steps -- expected for the tradition of the program -- to be in that position in the near future.
Head coach Matt Thurmond and associate head coach Armen Kirakossian inked a terrific trio that puts ASU in that "best team in college golf" conversation, just like it is and should be.
"All of these future Sun Devils are excellent students with high character and engaging personalities," Thurmond said. "They will compete and achieve on the course and live their lives in a way that will bring esteem to our program and to all Sun Devil Nation both in college and then at the next level.
