TEMPE -- The Sun Devils capped off the Littlewood Classic undefeated with an 8-0 run-rule win against the Boise State Broncos. Arizona State (9-2) came into the game with a walk-off win over No. 10 Kentucky in 11 innings on Saturday night.
"This weekend we got better as a team", said Head Coach Trisha Ford as she highlighted the Devil's improved "short game, base running, and pitch selection" praising their play against Boise State.
Cielo Meza and the defense started off strong and Madison Preston completed the game with a stellar relief appearance in the fifth inning for the Devils to cap off five no-score innings.
