PHOENIX – Freshman second baseman Andrew Snow drove the game-winning hit into right field in the 11th inning to give No. 12 Sun Devil Baseball a walk-off win, 6-5, in the series finale against Washington State on Saturday night at Phoenix Municipal Stadium.
Arizona State won its seventh Pac-12 series of the season and its 10th overall, the most since 2012, behind Snow’s second game-winning hit of the season. Right fielder Trever Allen scored the winning run from second base after he reached on a fielding error by WSU’s second baseman to lead off the frame and advanced on a sacrifice bunt by third baseman Jordan Aboites.
