It isn't unusual for major college basketball teams to throw in a few games against schools from lesser conferences as a warmup for the more important games ahead, especially if a young team could use a confidence builder or two.

But it was the Sun Devils staying on a roll and registering a 83-71 win on Saturday night in front of 10,085 at Wells Fargo Arena.
