TEMPE, Ariz. – Sun Devil Football redshirt senior linebacker Antonio Longino has earned Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week honors for the second consecutive week following his performance in the Territorial Cup against Arizona on Nov. 21, the conference announced Monday.
Longino is the first defensive player in school history to pick up back-to-back Pac-12 Player of the Week recognition, and is just the second Sun Devil to do so, joining kicker Thomas Weber Sept. 29-Oct. 6, 2007. He is also the first player in the conference this season to earn back-to-back to weekly honors.
This is the fifth weekly Pac-12 honor for the Sun Devils this season and ASU’s 101st selection since 1983.
