Former ASU basketball player Romello White signs with pro team in Israel

Former Arizona State basketball standout Romello White has signed with Hapoel Eilat of the Israeli Basketball Premier League, the top tier of Israeli basketball. The team represents the far-South region of the country — the Arabah area and the city of Eilat.

In three seasons at ASU White played in 95 games, starting in 92 of those. In his ASU career, the 6-foot-8 forward averaged 9.8 points and 8.8 rebounds despite playing in an offense where the guards are the primary focus.

In his last season as ASU, the 2019-2020 campaign, the Atlanta, Georgia native averaged 10.
