Doan Scores Twice in Two Minutes in Battle at #1 MSU

MANKATO, MN – For the second night in a row, the Arizona State men's ice hockey team scored first in the matchup against No. 1 Minnesota State. The game came down to the final minutes thanks to two goals within two minutes from rookie Josh Doan that brought the score within one. In a battle to the end, an MSU empty net goal sealed ASU's defeat, 3-5.

With two tonight, Doan leapt into the top-10 of all NCAA point scorers, tying at No. 9 with 31 on the season (11G, 20A).

Once again, the Sun Devils (15-14-0) came out of the gate swinging with the first goal of the game.
