In 2013, just weeks removed from junior college, Antonio Longino stood on Arizona State's practice field, watching the program's veterans work out. The linebacker had a notebook in his pocket, which he occasionally took out to jot down notes.
Not long ago, Longino took out his notebooks and went back in time, refreshing his memory, preparing for his final season with the Sun Devils, one that kicks off Saturday in Houston with a showdown against Texas A&M.
"I really wasn't good at note taking, I can say that,'' Longino said with a smile. "But it got better.
