As Christmas approaches we bring back our annual 12 Plays of Christmas, celebrating the best 12 plays of the ASU football season as voted upon by our staff.
The Arizona State Sun Devils were the 27-point favorite heading into the contest against the New Mexico Lobos in the middle of September. They came pretty close to that projected outcome, by beating the Lobos 34-10.
Many said this was a cupcake-game for the Sun Devils, something the coaching staff added on to the beginning of the season to build confidence and snag some early non-conference wins.
