This will be ASU baseball’s first time playing TCU since they knocked out ASU last season in the NCAA regional.
After a matinee matchup with Oklahoma State on Tuesday, ASU may want to throw away every video and stat from that game. The Cowboys put on a hitting clinic as they scored whopping 18 runs.
The shocking thing from that game is that ASU threw nine pitchers and none could stop the bleeding. Zach Dixon had a solid start going 3 innings, allowing 2 earned runs, but most of the damage came from the late relievers.
Going into the sixth inning, it wasn’t too bad as ASU was only down 3-0; but the bullpen fell through, giving up 15 runs in four innings while using six pitchers.
