After being unable to sweep Cal State Bakersfield, ASU baseball will be looking to sweep the Ducks and gain some momentum in the Pac-12.
Oregon is currently 6-9 in the Pac-12, and is right above Arizona State in the standings. A sweep would not only allow the Sun Devils to jump the Ducks, but they would also be only two games away from being .500 in Pac-12 play.
In order to get to that point, ASU will need to continue their strong hitting streak. For the past two series, runs haven’t been a problem for Arizona State and, with a pitching staff that is struggling, that has been the main reason for their success as of late.
