Sun Devil rising Senior Max Rottluff is set to tee it up at this year’s Western Amateur Championship held at Rich Harvest Farms in Sugar Grove, Illinois.
Rottluff currently ranked the No. 21 Amateur in the world and a reigning GCAA First Team All-American looks to become the second Sun Devil in program history to win the Amateur, as “Lefty” Phil Mickelson won the tournament in 1991.
This year’s championship features arguably the strongest field in amateur golf, with five of the world’s top-6 amateur’s competing. Rottluff will be one of 156 swingers from 19 countries present.
