TEMPE, Ariz.—Arizona State track and field’s redshirt senior thrower Alex Hartig was named to the Captial One Academic All-District Team for District VIII, CoSIDA announced on Friday.
Both a three-time Pac-12 All-Academic First-Teamer and USTFCCCA All-Academic Honoree, Hartig, who is earning her Master’s in Accounting and currently has a 4.0 GPA, is the first Sun Devil to be named to the District VIII team since John Kline, Jamie Sandys, and Nick Happe each earned recognition in 2012.
