As a result, an odd trend began on social media, which consisted of Phillies fans, who live in Philadelphia, buying up the upper deck seats in a desperate attempt to prevent the Diamondbacks from holding too large of a home field advantage.
However, despite just a handful of fans across social media actually pulling the trigger and purchasing some upper deck tickets, the attempt ultimately fell flat on its face.
