Game Day: Phillies tie game against D-Backs' Robbie Ray

The Diamondbacks stormed ahead by scoring three times in the first inning, but the Phillies have chipped away at left-hander Robbie Ray, scoring once in each of the first three innings to the game. The teams were knotted at 1-1 after three innings.

Paul Goldschmidt hit a two-run shot and Chris Owings added a solo homer in the first inning as the Diamondbacks jumped on Phillies right-hander Ben Lively.

Aaron Altherr answered in the bottom of the first, launching a solo homer to left field. Maikel Franco hit another solo shot an inning later.
Then in the third, the Phillies started the inning with consecutive singles and brought home the tying run on a double-play groundout.
