A number of Diamondbacks regulars weren't in the starting lineup Sunday against the Phillies after Saturday's night game, a 9-2 win for Arizona.
"Sunday mornings are tough on everybody, and that’s part of the reason why I give guys days off," manager Torey Lovullo said. "If you’ve seen the lineup, you know that several of our guys are down today. It’s a hard, grinding moment to get up for, day game after a night game coming out of Colorado.
