Baseball is back, and spring training is in full swing across Arizona as teams begin to get ready for the 2023 season.
While these games should be taken with a grain of salt, the Diamondbacks have kicked off their 2023 campaign in less-than-ideal fashion.
Through three games, Arizona has been outscored 42-18, which is currently the worst in the league. Pitching has been the main struggle, as the D-backs have allowed 12 runs or more in each matchup thus far.
Most recently against the Padres, the Diamondbacks lost 18-6 after falling into a 14-2 deficit by the end of the fourth inning.
