The reigning National League champions Arizona Diamondbacks held their annual Winter Classic Event at Chase Field on Wednesday.

Over 500 students from Title 1 schools were invited to the event and had the time of their lives.
The focus of the festival was to give these kids an early Christmas and that is exactly what happened. Each student received a brand-new pair of shoes, two books, a book bag, and a sweatshirt while at the event.
Two volunteers, Rachel Ohlschlager and Chris Fagen were at the University of Phoenix reading corner and saw how much these books meant to the students.
