The Arizona Diamondbacks are close to acquiring reliever Jake Diekman from the Rangers, according to ESPN's Jerry Crasnick.
Diekman is 1-1 for the Texas Rangers this season with a 3.69 ERA. He as 48 strikeouts and 23 walks over 39 innings in 47 appearances.
