It took 12 innings for the Arizona Diamondbacks to pull away with the series opening win. Tonight, they only needed three. Led by its offense and a gem thrown by Josh Collmenter, the Diamondbacks cruise to a 9-0 victory over San Francisco.
Arizona played to near perfection throughout the night, and it was only fitting with a bullpen that desperately needed some rest. Collmenter did his job beautifully, tossing his second career complete game shut out. He allowed just four hits, with just one since the third inning.
