The quondam Arizona Cardinals front-office executive, Terry McDonough, has been accused of choking his neighbor. In the criminal affidavit, filed by the neighbor, the incident occurred on Tuesday March 12.

McDonough’s neighbor stated, “[He] has a history of volatile behavior and also [was] publicized in national news related to a case he has with the Arizona Cardinals. He tried to strangle me unprovoked and both me and my family do not feel safe.”

A court date has been set for April 11 in Mecklenburg County, to asses Terry McDonough’s simple assault charges.

The court documents outline McDonough’s offense as simple assault, which is common between two individuals fighting in public and result in nothing more than bumps and bruises or the victim taking offense.
