For 28 years, Cardinals fans have witnessed the absurd and the impossible. They’ve seen their team lose over 100 games in a 10-year period, make an improbable run to the Super Bowl, produce three of the greatest role models in Arizona history and change the entire landscape of Valley sports.
But they have never experienced anything like Sunday’s 6-6 tie with the Seahawks.
The Cardinals ran 90 offensive plays. They gained 443 yards. They had the ball for more than 46 minutes. And they still couldn’t score a touchdown.
They wasted one of the finest defensive efforts in team annals.
