Bruce Arians is hurting. He lost his brother-in-law to cancer. He’s trying to play golf with a torn rotator cuff.
And not to pull any fire alarms, but the Cardinals head coach still hasn’t heard official word from Carson Palmer on his expected return in 2017.
“His last words were, ‘I’ll let you know soon’, just like Larry (Fitzgerald),” Arians said on Saturday. “The way he played down the stretch makes you believe he’s coming back, but he got beat up pretty good last year. So you never know.”
Arians doesn’t sound worried. He believes Palmer is just decompressing.
