Although there was optimism last week the Arizona Cardinals would get back running back Andre Ellington for the Sunday night road game against the Philadelphia Eagles, it is being reported he will not play.
Listed as questionable for the game, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported he is unlikely to play in Philly, per a source. However, he should be ready next week when the Cardinals host the Packers.
Ellington suffered turf toe in the Cardinals' victory over the San Francisco 49ers. He did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday this week and was only limited on Friday.
