Women's Soccer Suffers Setback at Campbell

BOONE, N.C. -- Appalachian State University women's soccer (0-2) suffered a 1-0 decision to Campbell (1-1) on Sunday afternoon at the Eakes Athletic Complex in Buies Creek, N.C.

A Haley Thoma penalty kick goal at 49:33 in the second was the difference for the match, leading to the contest's only score.
