POINT CLEAR, Ala. – The Sun Belt Conference Women's Golf Championship begins Monday and runs through Thursday at The Lakewood Golf Club in Point Clear, Ala.
App State is seeded 12th in the 13-team field, which includes seven schools with a first-place team finish this year and three more with a runner-up finish. In the Mountaineers' last event, first-year coach Brittany Dabule's squad placed third among seven teams at the Mimosa Hills Intercollegiate.
App State's five-player lineup will consist of Layla Meric, Jacquelyn Taylor, Ona Lukes, Makena Dubois and Sara Adams.
