Men's Golf in 10th Place at Sun Belt Championship

MIRAMAR BEACH, Fla. Appalachian State University men's golf completed the first round of the 2016 Sun Belt Championship on Sunday at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort on the Raven Course. Appalachian sits in 10th place after a round-one 294.

Georgia State leads the championship at 282. Troy and Texas State are tied for 2nd place at 288.

Patrick Moriarty shot the low round of the day for the Mountaineers with a 1-over 72. Moriarty heads into Monday's round tied for 14th place. Caleb Keck carded a 73 in his opening round.
