COLUMBIA, S.C. –– Appalachian State University men’s track and field wrapped up the Weems Baskin Invitational at the University of South Carolina on Saturday.
The Mountaineers were led by Ryan Hastings who broke the program record in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:49.42. With that finish, Hastings placed third in the race.
won the 3,000-meter race with a time of 8:40.39, while Jacob Sears took fourth in the 1,500-meter run invite race with a time of 4:01.54. In that same race, Evan Georges placed fifth with a time of 4:02.
