BOONE, N.C. — For her efforts in the Appalachian State University women’s soccer wins last weekend, senior Jane Cline (Cornelius, N.C./Charlotte Catholic) was voted the NCAA Women’s Soccer Player of the Week as conducted via Twitter poll by @NCAASoccer.
“This is a huge honor for not only Jane and our program, but also for the entire Sun Belt Conference,” head coach Sarah Strickland said. “They immediately supported the nomination and voted, which says a lot about our conference, how much we truly stand together and how supportive we are of each other.
